The Interjection(감탄사)

 

1i. Words expressing emotion and having no grammatical relation to other words in the sentence are interjections.(문장에서 감정을 표현하거나 다른 단어들과 문법적 관련이 없는 단어들을 감탄사라고 한다.)

 

Words which show strong feeling-- like Ouch! Whew! Ahem! and Well!--are interjections. Since these words show anger, surprise, or excitement, they are usually followed by an exclamation is mild, the interjection is followed by a comma.

 

EXAMPLES

 

Oh! Don’t hit me so hard.

Bah! He’s no actor.

Well, do it yourself them.
