DIALOGUE

 

Teacher: Hello, class!(안녕하세요 여러분!)

Are you guys having a good morning?(좋은 아침 맞이하고 있나요?)

 

Students: Hi, Mr. Kim. So so.(안녕하세요. 김 선생님, 그냥 그래요.)

 

Teacher: It's chilled to the bone outside.(밖은 뼛속까지 춥군요.)

Aren't you cold?(여러분은 춥지 않나요?)

 

Students: Yes, I am.(추워요.)

 

Teacher: It's chilly in here too.(교실 안도 춥군요.)

Look at the windows.(창문 좀 보세요.) They are frosty.(서리로 덮였어요.)

 

Students: The meteorologist says it will snow a lot this afternoon.(기상 예보관이 오늘 오후 눈이 많이 온다고 말하던데요.)

 

Teacher: That's why it's so gloomy this morning.(그래서 오늘 아침 우중충하군요.) I can't predict the weather but I hope the weather will improve by this weekend.(날씨를 예고할 순 없지만, 이번 주말까진 좋아졌으면 해요.)

 

Students: I hope it will be sunny this Saturday.(토요일엔 햇살을 볼 수 있었으면 좋겠어요.)

 

Teacher: Oh, do you have plans for this Saturday?(오, 이번 토요일에 뭔가 근사한 계획이 있는 것 같은데요.)

 

Students: My family is planning to go skiing.(가족이랑 스키 타러 가기로 했어요.)

 

Teacher: What fun!(정말 재미있겠는데요!) I'll hope for good weather by Friday then.(그럼 금요일엔 맑아지도록 기원해볼게요.)

 

Students: Thanks.(고맙습니다.)
