'셀타' 교수법과 평가 방법[Teaching and Assessment Methods]<3>
Teaching on a CELTA course is by a mixture of practical work and classroom input sessions.[‘셀타’ 과정은 실용적인 업무와 교실 수업의 혼합형태라고 보면 된다.]
(Input sessions is the common term for when a teacher <the teacher trainer, not the student> gives information, like traditional classroom teaching.)[(‘인풋 세션’은 학생이 아니라, 선생, 또는 예비 선생이 전통적인 교실 수업처럼, 정보를 제공하는 것을 말한다.)]
There is no exam to sit at the end of the course and assessment is continuous.[과정이 끝날 때 시험을 보는 것이 아니라, 계속적인 평가를 한다.]
Each student will complete four written assignments, and will teach two different levels for a total of 6 hours. The teaching is assessed on the performance over the whole course.[학생 각자는 4편의 영작 과제를 마쳐야 하며, 총 6시간을 2개의 레벨로 나눈 반을 가르쳐야 한다. 교수법 평가는 전체 과정에 걸친 강의를 평가받는다.]
There are three grades for the CELTA qualification[‘셀타’ 자격증에는 3등급으로 나눈다.]:
• Pass[합격]
• Pass B[B 합격]
• Pass A, with Pass A being the highest grade.[A 합격, 최고의 등급으로 합격할 때 부여됨.]
