Pairs
Some clothing items are usually in two parts, which are sometimes separate, such as two gloves, and sometimes connected, such as pants. The nouns are plural. One set of two parts is a pair. A pair of shoes, for example, is two shoes, one for the left foot and one for right. A pair of pants is one item, with two legs.
